Without much fanfare this hidden gem is the remains of a Villa almost two centuries ago.
Stroll down a Roman road through lemon and olive groves to a light hike to the waters edge.
While there isn’t much left other than stunning views, you get a view of the entire bay of Naples.
You can reach the road by cab for about 20 euros from city center you can also hop a bus here as well.
There is a store where you can purchase water, sandwiches, and basic supplies very close to the bus stop.

We went on a walk to see some of the surrounding area of Sorrento and walked to the Cape to where the Villa was. As well as the villa and swimming beach, we found a beautiful hidden cove that you can walk down to and swim in. The walk wasn't too hard going, but was fairly uphill and we had to walk on the edge of busy roads at points near the start.

We walked from Sorrento in March. That would be too much for most people in summer. The protected pool with the hole in the rock is charming to see. Access is impossible for feeble visitors.
