Our trip with Gianluca was amazing. This was a private shore excursion from Salerno - pick up from the ship, visiting Pompeii with guided tour and free time in Ravello & Amalfi and drive back to the ship via the townships of the Amalfi Coast. Our guide in Pompeii was fabulous (the very entertaining Joe) and we had an amazing... More

Accademia Leonardo in Salerno is an amazing school for students who want to learn Italian language. I brought American 7th grade students to Accademia Leonardo three times and I was never disappointed. The learning experience was great – the teachers organized perfect courses tailored to students’ needs, plus many exciting and fun activities that enabled the students to improve their... More

I spent a week at the Seniors Course at Accademia Leonardo, Salerno in April. My husband, who had been studying Italian for some years, was attending an advanced course so I decided to attend a beginners Seniors Course, just to be able to speak some simple phrases while in Italy. My husband wanted to go to a town that didn't... More

We stopped at Salerno for one day on our cruise. Instead of being herded with the thousands of other passengers, we had pre arranged a tour with Paolo at Accademia... BEST decision ever! We were picked up in our own private mini bus by the brilliant Leonardo (so good to have an excellent driver on those hair-pin roads!) and our... More

This was my 2nd time here and it was just as memorable as the 1st, 8 years ago. Margherita will arrange everything for you from the pick-up at the station to great accomodations and tours if you'd like with the help of Issy! Delightful people and seeing Milena, who runs a lot of what goes on there, after all these... More

I spent the month of April in Salerno and two of it at Accademia Leonardo. The time was wonderful and I miss back already. The staff at Accademia Leonardo was extremely nice and helpful. Special thanks to our lovely teacher Luca who has guided us with a professional and patience way as well in Italian language and in the history,... More

I was in Salerno for one month and attended Accademia Leonardo for three weeks. At Accademia Leonardo, all the people working were very interested and helpful. I had a great teacher, sensitive to our needs, planning his lessons carefully, humorous, teaching us not only Italian, but also about Italian culture, food, places to see ... They found me a flat... I've been to Accademia Leonardo two times!!! It was the most enjoyable time for me in the sense of school and city. The school is very friendly, welcoming and it's a place where you feel secure and comfortable. The teachers are hospitable and helpful!!!

I have been at a few other language schools in Italy but this was certainly the best experience. The school found me accommodation just five minutes from the school in the heart of the old city and the classes were just to my liking with two wonderful teachers. They really reflected my needs from the class and were conducted in... More
