A delightful cathedral with many interesting features and history. Worth a visit for the crypt alone (there's small fee, 2 euros I think) which is a riot of painting and decoration.

If you get a chance to visit Salerno make sure you visit the Duomo. The church has some beautiful artwork and architecture but the Crypt downstairs is amazing and beautiful.

The Duomo in Salerno is absolutely Beautiful. When visiting the church don't miss the crypt of St Matthews! It was absolutely fantastic with beautiful painting in the ceiling and artwork in marble on the walls.
