Entered the cafe with a group of friends, (5 middle aged women) enquiring if they had the famous cakes “delizie al limone “. The owner at the cashier could not have been any ruder saying “we only serve at tables! in a tone you don’t...More

Unfortunately I was not inside the Duomo but the square has a very nice atmosphere, especially in the evening. There are a lot of people outside, eating, drinking, chatting. It's nice to sit at the church stairs, still warm after the sun, and look down...More

What a really pleasant surprise this was. In the absolute centre of Amalfi this cathedral is a spectacular sight and after climbing the many steps to the entrance the inside did not disappoint. For the mere cost of 3 Euros, including brief guide, you are...More

It’s simply beautiful, everywhere you turn. A special piece of architecture, approached by an impressive staircase that overlooks the square, just inside the entrance to the town. They charge the customary three Euro to see inside.

While the whole church is great, the most beautiful feature by far is the portico and the Campanile with an style reminiscent of Tuscan churches but with some especial details. Inside the church is nice as well, nut I was completely taken over by the...More

This Duomo is beautiful, especially because of its great chairs and its crypt. You have a great view on it from the central square. Sit down on the terrace on the square and enjoy the front view and its stairs.

Very dominating and impressive building as you enter the town square. Interesting inside although very busy and quite noisy for inside a church.

We weren't expecting (a) to be charged to enter a church (extremely rare) and (b) for the interior to be so incredible. All of the churches in Italy are amazing, but this one is something else. If you like to visit churches then this one...More

The Cathedral has a beautiful facade and definitely carries an Arab flair. The Crypt of St. Andrew left us really fascinated. A place I would totally recommend.

I have waited may years to be able to visit this beautiful church and it did not disappoint. So much to see and seeing that we visited shortly after Easter the church was still filled with beautiful flowers. I loved the big painting of St...More
