All the other reviews are right - it is an amazingly dirty place which feels dangerous because it is. However it houses some of the most magnificent jewels of history. Yet why let these things stay in a place that those who live there cannot...More

The bay of Naples when viewed from Sorrento is breathtaking. Magnificent view across the bay taking in Sorrento's marina's, cliffs, numerous boats bobbing along, Naples and uninterrupted views of Mount Vesusvius. Sit on a bench or cafe and admire this free view.

This is a city full of graffiti in its mature stage. It has its own charm. I would personally make this city only an entry point to see pompei and other historical areas. To be honest, I would go to sicilly and stay there for...More

The best view of the Bay of Naples is best experienced from the ride along its coastline, the City of Naples is not tourist friendly.

We stopped off here for a day whilst on a cruise. The rest of our party attended an organised trip to Pompeii and had a lovely day. We thought we would get off the ship and have a wander round. Wish we diidn't bother! The...More

This review is actually of the fireworks viewed in the Bay of Pozzuoli, a smaller bay to the North of the Bay of Naples- but Trip Advisor doesn't accommodate a review of Pozzuoli or its bay, so here it is. In short, the Neapolitans know...More
