The monastery is about 10 minutes walk from the square (each way). It is relatively small, but it gives you a good feel for “a monastery on a rock / mountain”. The views from the monastery over the Vikos Gorge are great as well. There is a little shop and a toilet. No charge

At the end of the day the place was abandonded but the views over the Vikos Gorge breathtaking. The building itself very charateristic with very small doors.
