A beautiful church. You are greeted in a friendly manner by people who are happy to show you around. The side chapels are worth seeing. The former Dominican monastery is now run by Oblate missionaries. Next door you can admire the cloister, which is now state-owned, for free. In the Brothers' Chapel there is a statue of the German Dominican mystic, Blessed Heinrich Seuse. This is unusual for southern Italy.

After spending time in the old town the walk down and across the bridge gives an amazing photo opportunity.

Coincidentally, I discovered the Church of San Domenico while taking a walk in Cosenza. With a volunteer telling the story, the visit was quite an interesting and pleasant experience
