For a lover of romantic art, this is a must see place in Cosenza. Upon arrival I was given a private tour for free, and it was even in English! My tour guides outlined the history of the site including its previous occupation as a prison. It’s a shame this place doesn’t get as many visitors as it deserves. Some stunning pieces, and peaceful ambience. I will definitely visit again.

The gallery is on the second floor of the palace which has previously been a prison and a courthouse. The staff were attentive and after the visit presented us with some postcards and publicity material. Entry free and open through the day.
