Set in the lovely old Cathedral Square this cathedral is magnificent. A visit is a a 'must'. Amazing how much religious opulence there is amongst so much poverty. I guess that is the case in most of Southern Europe.
The Duomo is up a slope which isn’t too steep but there are steps to climb to go into the Cathedral. Free entry and lots of amazing ceilings etc. Good views outside and well worth a 20-30 minute visit.
