Whilst staying in the Abruzzo region in April, we found all too often that the things we had selected to do each day were inevitably closed. We would typically arrive at a town or city around 11am and after grabbing a quick coffee set off...More

I loved to go for a walk here. Great atmosphere walking along the coastline with no cars in the way. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants too.

Very good place for walking and watching people. Along this promenade you can walk or bike ride. There are many restaurants as well as places for you to go to the beach, where you can change, shower, have a lounge chair on the sand, or...More

Right and left from Piazza Salotto, this maritime corso is the place to be, to walk, to eat, to see and to be seen when in Pescara. Large enough to accomodate the influx of tourists, with bicycle lanes all along and lined with restaurants and...More

It is a beautiful place, sadly Italians put umbrellas during the summer so you can't enjoy the view of the beach and the beautiful sea. I recommend this place during autumn and spring.

In Pescara you must go for a stroll along the seaside during day or in the evening. The street is always filled with life. Many great restaurants, ice cream bars, music, street vendors, etc. Our favorite thing to do before and after dinner in Pescara!

You can walk for miles, breath in the sea air and people watch. Stop for lunch/dinner, a drink or a gelato in one of the many beachside "stabilimenti" open in the summer.

Not much more to be said .... it's your standard beach front with cafes, restaurants, sand & see. Looks like plenty of places to hire an umbrella & chairs from & there looked to be a public beach near the Ponte del Mare. Prices are...More
