Located where the main plaza joins the beach, this fountain is neither spectacular nor well maintained. You may stop by while walking the beach, but the fountain is not worth a detour.

We were overjoyed to find this beautiful work of art so near the sea. We enjoyed the various shapes within the overall structure.

My husband and I took a walk on the beach last week during our brief stay in Pescara. This once, pristine beach on the Adriatic coast, was covered as far as the eye could see with litter. Glass/plastic bottles, all types of plastic and other types of debris. It was a shocking sight to see.We were told that this is now a common sight and that the local population do not consider recycling to be an important issue. Thankfully this was our last visit there having managed to sell our house.
