Kent Country Pub
May 2018 • Family
A pleasant country pub serving good food. The staff were very accommodating and although when visited they were busy still found us a table.
If you are in the area try and drop by.

Popped in yesterday. Light lunch very nice and good value for money. Nice old country pub just like they used to be. Friendly and warm.

Sunday Lunch - Fantastic!
Aug 2017
Traditional pub in the heart of lovely village. We came when their new menu started and Sunday lunch was fantastic!! Homemade Yorkshire puddings, plentiful rare roast beef, fresh vegetables and proper gravy served on the side! We were made to feel very welcome and a lovely friendly landlady. And the chocolate cheesecake to finish was heavenly! So light and fluffy! We will be back!

The wrong pub!
Mar 2017 • Couples
We had booked a table at another pub in the village but ended up here by mistake. Strangely there is no pub sign outside. However, it was buy one meal get one free so we stayed! Very good food, friendly welcoming staff and a nice place. Would visit again.

Fantastic food & fantastic service
Jun 2016
Great, cosy village pub with home cooked food. We arrived on 'steak night' and got two meals AND a bottle of wine for £22 (Merlot was the red, but I requested Shiraz and happily paid difference of £2). The steaks were really very, very good and came from the local butchers when we enquired.
The service was fantastic and there wasn't enough they could do for you. Any negative reviews are, in my opinion, to be ignored, you couldn't want more from a beautiful village pub.
