We decided to stay in the area and were so glad we did! It is close to everything that there's to see in Valencia. Beautiful old very narrow streets full of little squares with restaurants, bars and small markets. We felt perfectly safe walking around...More

Gorgeous building which is often open. Make sure to (finish?) with the museum and make sure to take in all 3 floors

The amazing old town part. Lovely restaurants, beautiful squares, good atmosphere all around and good spots for taking photos. Remember to check out the street art, Valencia is famous for it!

Nice place for a walk and very safe at night. A lot of interesting local stores and restaurants and also, very touristic places. You should bring some cash though.

A great area to base yourself in, or spend some time exploring. Conveniently close to the park which runs through the city, and full of interesting bars, cafes, restaurants and shopping. Also it's fair share of tourist attraction: museums, churches and galleries.

The most beautiful area of Valencia in my opinion. The style of the urban design and architecture is undoubtedly Spanish and will make for fantastic photos of the neighborhood, strolling through Barrio del Carmen is an adventure in itself and worth getting lost in.
