This is the most impressive building of the City of Arts and Sciences complex. It’s spectacular in size, coupled with state of the art equipment and an exciting programme. You can't miss this out while in the city of Valencia.

A kind of feather covers the roof of this building. The architect- Santiago Calatrava- "tells" that here we find literature, opera, dancing, music, history, drama. etc. Masterpieces like Turandot, Carmina Burana, la Traviata, and more have been played here by the most relevant actors and...More

I'm not a real Opera buff but I love to visit the Opera house on any city break I go on. The futuristic design to this Opera house was designed by the Valencia-born and internationally known architect Santiago Calatrava, which began in 1995 and opened...More

My wife and I had a short stop off in Valencia whilst on a TUI cruiser and enjoyed the visit. Time constraints limited the amount of time we could spend here but, wow, its and impressive structure and well worth visiting.

A wonderful piece of architecture inside and out. We did the tour which takes an hour but is well worth it. The tour takes you behind the scenes and into the concert halls.

Taxi, 5.50 euros from centre or 1.50 on the bus, 45' walking. Skip the Palau des Science, content is sparse and dull.
