I agree with previous reviewers who point out that this is basically a glorified food court encased in a beautiful architectural structure. That's not to say that you won't find some interesting places here, including the food lab / restaurant by chef Ricardo Camarena who seems to run every second restaurant in the city. But prices are high here, and... More

Best place to shop for top notch ingredients including meat, fish, veggies, breads, spices, etc. Everything is fresh and under one roof. The vendors are friendly and will provide samples. Love this place!

Worth a good look around but it is pricey and you can get better value elsewhere (`rusafa market for example. Fish bit is fun.

Colorful and distinct market place. Best to visit on weekdays. Plenty of fruit, fish and meat. Take some time to wander around, take pictures and enjoy the scenery. Tip, the CENTRAL BAR is a place where you can enjoy local breakfast too.

Great place to wander and smell the fish meat and vegetables. We bought a couple of huge peaches which were delicious on the train to Barcelona the next day.

Always crowded, helps if you can speak Spanish here. It is big. Take your time, easy to spend half a day here.

I liked it, but most of the things they sell there are meat, fish, fruits and veggies. You canfind something else like tea, honey and such, but not much of it.
