If you are in Valencia, you must make time to visit this fantastic market, one of the best. Even if you don't want to buy, walk around and soak up the atmosphere of this historical Spanish way of life. Please go, and buy some chocolate! If nothing else.

Don't miss it. What an amazing place. So much food and variety in one place. Cafes outside buzzing with life and serving good and inexpensive food and drink.

This is an amazing market and one of the best and biggest in the Europe. There is an amazing selection of produce, meats, seafood and baked goods. It is fun to just wander around and take pictures but also a great place to buy some lunch or treats. Go early as it closes at 3:00 and is closed on Sundays.

It is not your typical American market- but definitely typical for Europe! You can find any meat or vegetable you could want! It is not a place for staples, however (like milk). We bought some great meat and cheese and had our own tapas!

Visited this as part of the free walking tour and returned afterwards to spend more time here. All the food looks amazing. Try the horchata and farton (like dipping a long, sugared doughnut into almond milk). Toilets are near the information desk and you'll need a 50 cent coin. A must see in Valencia.

Astonishing array of fresh produce , including fish, meats, cheese, fruit and vegetables. As a foreigner used to the local supermarket this market is an assault on the senses! There were also a couple of tapas bars which looked wonderful but they were so busy that people were queuing for a space.
