Lots of merchants selling a lot of seafood, meat and anything else. Was nice visiting this market with my family.

The central market is a good place to get some food and take a deep dive into the Spanish cuisine from ingredients point of view. The market is very crowded but you can find your way there. Lots of products to choose from. It's nice to spend 1 hour there. Prices are pretty high though compared to local supermarket.

Especially on Sunday morning I can recommend to go there, the merchants selling fish are only there in the morning untill early afternoon.

Nuts, fresh fruits and vegetables, hams, fish, spices. You name - the Mercado has it. The most colorful Valencia experience you can get.

Its a good market and neat. You can buy from souvenirs until daily need. The location is perfect in the old town area.
