My girlfriend & I wanted to try out this Planetarium IMAX theatre.

We purposely picked a film that was recently made (a David Attenborough film) to give it the best chance of being good picture quality & it was!

The cinema is fully raked & you'll have the same view pretty much anywhere you sit as the seats are all angled backwards so you are looking almost upwards throughout.

My one big issue was that the legroom was very poor (I'm not that tall) & I was lucky that I could stretch into the next seat during the film & even that wasn't perfect.
You are not allowed to put your feet on the seat in front of you, particularly if someone is sitting there!

The actual film was very good with good sound & to experience this in almost 360 degrees is a visual treat...you were given a headset with a choice of languages & volume control which worked fine.
The loudest volume setting wasn't massively loud, but I think that was intentional as during the film I could occasionally hear the same commentary in other languages from other people's headsets that didn't have them on correctly!

I'd definitely do this again with a different film, but may sit on the end of a row to stretch out into the aisle.

I was absolutely amazed at the great architecture of the magnificent City Of Arts And Sciences Complex ( Cuidad De Las Artes Y Ciencies ) ,one of the most stunning buildings here was L'Hemisferic ,constructed in 1998 ,this was the first building to be constructed in this complex ,it's an IMEX Cinema ,planetarium and laserium ,constructed to resemble an eye hence it's nickname " the eye of knowledge " ,it half sphered in design ,it's such an amazing looking building ,one of many in this complex that's most definitely well worth checking out if you're in the area or planning to visit this must go destination in Valencia.

Great experience, very nice for the fans of science and people willing to learn something. A good conjunction of the 3D film in a room where wherever you look the film is all around, making you feel in the center of the experience, very emersive.

Never experienced anything like this before! We arrived after spontaneously deciding to buy tickets to watch one of the shot films so we didn't really know what to expect. Once inside the domed theater we put on our headsets and couldn't believe how good the visuals were. It really felt like the screen was all around you and we could have just spent hours watching the different showings. It really took IMAX to the extreme and gave you a glimpse of what future technology could be like.

We opted for the Universe Wonders and it was great in the fine IMAX. Lasting about an hour or so, much of it covered pioneering research at CERN.

Another wonder is the edifice itself. Resembling an eye, symbolising knowledge and more importantly wisdom, it is a further stunning creation by Calatrava in the City.

We were definitely expecting much more! Sound was not high enough, video image low quality and the film we saw was not interesting at all - can’t remember the name but it has to do with CERN. Don’t go it’s not worth. Stay outside and take
Pictures from the buildings and the mirror effects of the water. It’s worth for that only!

Expected more. Video was low quality and headset was not easy to adjust. Even then it wasn’t loud enough. The building is noce from outside but that’s about it.

Long standing queues. Defective glasses. Poor image quality. Projection not fit for screen. Poor sound quality from headset. Lack of instructions on how to set things head gear. Rude staff.

We watched a movie at L'Hemisferic, the planetarium, designed to resemble a giant eye. It was the first building completed in the complex and probably my favourite. It's design is so striking.

Simply put, this is a round imax theatre.

Because of its shape, the movie displayed is more immersive.

My suggestion is to pick a good video. I picked Apollo 11 (only time I could come) and because of it being old, it means the quality of the video isn't as good, which dampens the experience somewhat. There was a very short video with clear new video that showed its potential, and I think a newer film would mean the experience would be better.
