Even if not catching a train you would go see the ticket hall, never seen anything like the beauty of the tiles and murals, even the large clock is a vision. If only train prices were this cheap in the UK I would be a daily user.

It is necessary to look up to the ceiling and walls of the main building. Both inside and outside. Magnificent ornate work with the typical Valencia designs of women in the typical attire. The orange trees on the outside walls with leaves and oranges. There was a great exhibit of the traditional festivity gowns, men and women in one of... More

I loved the appearance of the building and took lots of photos of the station with the bullring adjacent to it!

A gorgeous building from the outside and just as pretty inside the lobby and adjoining rooms. Worth a stop inside to see the beautiful mosaic tile work and decor. Several nice shops inside the main terminal. We took a quick shuttle from the North to the Joaquin station to catch the AVE high-speed train from Valencia to Madrid - a... More

Chanced upon this great marvel with some friends after getting a little lost in the city. From a distance, it instantly attracted the eye and we were drawn in by the beauty of the design. Well worth a look, plus there are great cafes and bakeries right down the main road!

Drop in for a look at how a train station should be designed. Maybe not as spectacular as other well designed stations from a previous era, but well worth a look.

Be sure to verify where your train leaves... There is another train station located behind the North Train Station (8 min. walk) called Joaquin Sorolla. Otherwise, this monument is great from the outside.

This is a beautiful building on the outside. Step into the ticket hall and it is like stepping back in time. The ceilings and walls are very ornate. Well worth a visit

Beautiful station from the inside and the outside. Right next to the bullring so I would recommend visiting the bullring just before departing from this station.
