An Amazing Building

If you come to Valencia you must take a few minutes to see this beatific art deco styled station and mosaic waiting rooms that had been so well maintained.

The facade of the building is beautiful and interesting. The surrounding market has something for eveyone . but the best is believe it or not, is the public toilets. "2theloo" Cost is Euro0.60 but you get piped music magnificently clean loos ( toilets). Piped music, in the background. What more can a man want ??

Train station north is beautifull from the in- and outside. Worth a visit while exploring the city center.

Inside too it is worth a look around the building with it's stained glass windows. There is a cafe and on the right as you enter there is a place where exhibitions take place. We were lucky to enjoy a photographic exhibition.

Just walked past here. But as far as a train station goes I haven't seen anything else quite as impressive. It is quite the architectural delight

+ in the city centre, it is the main train station of Valencia (for example to go to Alicante or Peníscola) + not any ugly train station and not loud, although in the city centre + the building itself is decorated in typical valenciano style - with painted tiles (azulejos) mainly with motives of oranges from Valencia + there is... If you are travelling by train this is the right Place. It is magnificent building and very beautiful inside with its ceiling paintings. It is also a departure point for day trips from Valencia.

Having travelled in and out of this beautiful old train station, on clean , comfortable trains, without feeling like sardines in a tin, the antique façade of this iconic building in the heart of Valencia, is a mask for the efficient systems running inside. Clear signage, good eating places, some lovely boutiques, clean platforms and amazingly enough trains that run... More

You cannot miss this place right next door to the bull ring. We used it to go to Segunda. Ticket officer spoke good English which was helpful! The ticket office is covered in mosaic. Worth a glance even if not travelling.
