Estación del Norte in Spanish, Estació del Nord in the Valencian language is an extraordinary example dellarchitettura the early '900. Do not miss the charming waiting room with the colorful ceilings and walls completely covered azulejas and the entrance hall with green columns and the ribbed ceilings! @gargio76

A really pretty and unusual station, well, building generally! The decoration is really different, with fruits and bright colours. It's beautifully maintained and a real joy to pass through or just to go and see in its in right.

This is a quite small but beautiful train station, well worth a visit. It is located in the central city and easily accessible. The wall painting and murals inside are beautiful, the outside is also beautiful with decorations. And of course, an added benefit is that it's free.

Massive edifice at the North end of the city. Check out the entrance halls just inside the main doors. A free shuttle takes you to Valencia's other station.

I don't normally have high expectations for the quality of train stations. It's normally just a formality of going to a new place but the North Station in Valencia was a very pleasant surprise. The station is very aesthetically pleasing with the old style architecture, beatiful mosaics, and original wooden ticket counters! It is truly a sight to see. From... More

One of the most interesting train stations I have ever seen. Beautiful architecture from the outside and the inside (at least the entrance). If you are in the neighborhood, don't miss having a look inside (the part where the tickets are sold).

When we went to Valencia, our train dropped us off at the new train station, Joaquin Sorolla. Luckily the North Station was very closed to our hotel. We took a stroll there after dinner. I was very impressed with the how it was restored nicely inside and retained its original character. North is also connected to JS by a free... More

If you are passing the North Station in Valencia it's really worth spending a few minutes popping in to have a look. As you enter from the forecourt, turn right when you come into the ticket office. In the corner there's an old part preserved with a bit of history to explain what the decorations mean etc. It will only... More
