This old railway station boasts an impressive architectural style - both inside and out. Whether you’re catching a train here or not, be sure to have a look around. Be sure to see the impressive room off to the right (from the front entrance) that boasts walls and ceiling of frescoes. Inside there are places to eat as well as a hostel.

Beautifully decorated train station. Unique and lovely, to say the least. When we visited there was an exhibition of fallas. Check out the floors, ceilings and walls. Lovely tiles all over. You can also see the vintage ticket counters. Worth a trip to enjoy it.

Visited the station on a visit to VLC. It is still as beautiful even when it is heavy rain. Great architecture and the interior is also amazing. Very historic and beautiful. Located next to the bull ring / also worth checking out and the amazing city square.

I'll confine my review to just one aspect of the station, namely the left luggage facilities.
Despite 11-M, Spain continues to offer excellent left luggage facilities in its train stations. For 3 euros per 24-hour period you can rent a small locker; it's only 3.5 euros for a medium and 5 for a large one. Quite apart from the very modest cost, the security girls who man the scanner and show you how everything work are testimony to the spirit of hospitality found in Valencia. I guess they are from eastern Europe, but they are certainly playing their part in welcoming people from all over the world to this wonderful city.

We jump around to other areas for day trips. The Estacio del Nord 'North Station' is very well laid out and the staff speaks English to compensate for my poor Spanish. I only had one year of Spanish in 1978 Junior high school but it is enough to get us where we want to be. So have no fear , you will get help here to get you where you need to be.

Estación del Norte in Spanish, Estació del Nord in the Valencian language is an extraordinary example dellarchitettura the early '900. Do not miss the charming waiting room with the colorful ceilings and walls completely covered azulejas and the entrance hall with green columns and the ribbed ceilings! @gargio76

A visually stunning station with a beautiful & immaculate facade that belies it’s age. We mistakenly thought it was a museum - not realising it was a proper working station in full everyday usage. Ornate artfully decorated tiles, wrought iron work and heavy panelled wooden doors in typical Spanish fashion decorate the interior.

A great art deco building, built in 1917 and is now celebrating its centenary. The outside facade at the front of the building is wonderful and the main entrance foyer stunning but if you turn right when entering and go through the doors what awaits you will be worth the trip. Look up at the ceiling. Amazing and unspoilt.

First of all I don't know why it is called North Station when it is at the heart of the city.
As I always go to Valencia by plane, I don't need to catch a train, but since at the airport I take the tube to go to Valencia and I get off at Xativa street, that is in front of the North Station, it is always my first sight of Valencia. So elegant! So beautiful! It is next to the bull ring and opposite the central Plaza del Ayuntamiento. So even if you don't have to catch a train you can't miss it.
Firs admire it from outside and then get insoide and enjoy the glazed tiles (azulejos). It is like a station from another century but with all the state of the art facilities of the present. And don't fortget that the trains to Madrid don't leave from this station but from Joaquín Sorolla station, that has not the charm of North Station. There is a free shuttle between both stations if you have a train ticket.
But if you don't have to catch a train the station to look at is North Station, not Joaquín Sorolla.

Beautiful and efficient station. Tip: there is a free shuttle bus to Valencia Joaquin Sorolla station. Just follow the signs in North Station and then jump on the bus. Ride is only 1-2 minutes, but it's a heck of a lot easier than the 10-12 minute walk if you have lots of luggage (as we did).
