We had been advised to take the No 25 bus from Valencia to El Palmar to see a picturesque village and have paella in its heartland. Beware! Not all No 25 buses go there and it required us to change and endure almost an hour's...More

Hi, I read that this is a good place for surfing. I'm a mother of two 20-somethings and a relative beginner at surfing, so looking for both upscale location and good beginner waves. What is this town like? Are there beautiful houses or nice hotels? Is there anywhere else you would recommend? We could go there in either March or August. Thank you, Christine
