We drove along the cost to see some of the towns on our way back to Valencia. I wish I knew of the place sooner, as I would have enjoyed spending more time here and maybe take a boat trip on Albufera lake or just...More

We visited this small village for lunch one day in Sept. and had a great meal and drove into the rice paddies to watch the harvest. Very pleasant day. Try Rest El Sequer de Tonica.

There is not much to do in El Palmar, but we enjoyed a relaxing afternoon on the boats, eating paella, drinking sangria and enjoying the views of the rice fields.

It is definitely worth leaving the city and heading a few miles south to El Palmar to have some great Paella. There are plenty of Cafes to choose from.
