Take more time than I did to fully appreciate the beauty of this church. Mind that it can be crowded and thereby not so accessible, risking to feel disturbing the religious experiences of the locals.

The Basilica is quite small but is very beautiful and has an impressive domed ceiling and is attached to the Cathedral via a small bridge which you can see outside.

A beautiful church built in 15th century and has an impressive domed ceiling with a fresco painting by Palomino. Although the church was quiet when I visited, desperately wanted to lay down flat to look up and truly admire the fresco.

We wandered in on our last evening in Valencia having walked past several times a day for 3 days. It was beautiful, a service was taking place but it was very peaceful.

Yet again came into the church in evening, mass going on in 2 different chapels. However the museum was closed at 6pm, still to come back and see the Goya paintings. Lots of paintings hanging around church could be useful to come early and take...More

This is such a beautiful building, the architecture, the paintings and of course the Madonna, worthy of a visit. Free entry also, so why not donate something into the light a candle box for your friends and family who are no longer with us.
