We did the Turia walking, biking and running. You can't get enough of it. The view on the bridges and its statues, and on the buildings that were build once along the river is spectacular. And of course at the end you'll have the marvellous buildings of Calatrava waiting. Don't miss it. Turia makes Valencia exceptionnal!

We rented bikes and drove all along Turia. This is a beautiful park made from the former river. This is a must in valencia.

The river has been diverted to a canal, and the river bed, 9km long, has become a park with gardens, sports grounds, cycle tracks, play areas all leading down to the extra-ordinary buildings at the end.

This is the old riverbed, turned into the longest park in Europe, 11kms since it flooded and destroyed half of the city in 1957 and it was diverted from the city centre.

We spent a week in Valencia and covered most of this wonderful park in that time. The park is formed of the dry riverbed following the diversion of the River Turia to avoid flooding. Thankfully the decision was made to transform it into a community park and not a road. The park is well used by locals who use the... More

If you visit Valencia in the summer, do not miss visiting the Oceanográfico, it has a amazing display of aquatic life and during summer it has a special dolphins show.

the park is quite long and there's not much width to it, but there's a lot to do. If you don't have much time in Valencia, I would say you can skip it cause after all you're only walking around. but if you're planning on going to the city of arts and science and the park, I would rocemmened doing...
