Beyond being a worthwhile visit to enjoy the eclectic building itself, Mercado Colon features restaurants and bars that run a spectrum from traditional Spanish to several other cuisines.

Really nice place in the center of Valencia, great to try horchata...next to the Central train station.

It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the city. It is suprising when you suddenly find its monumental look following the Jorge Juan street. There are many different types of premises of all kinds and prices and even a gourmet market in it.

I prefer to see this building as a central library. There were a few restaurant and bars to eat and drink but nothing special. We walked a long way to see it but we were disappointed.
