The art, the architecture, the food, the people, the setting itself is an utter pleasure, with fabulous architecture and magnificent towers. The church interiors are simply splendid and not to be overlooked. There are some wonderful hotels in the area as well.

The historic center of Valencia is not indifferent and is full of little secrets that go unnoticed on a first visit. It's essential to wander off the tourist circuits to find charming places like The House of Cats (Museu street), the urban street art of El Carmen, the charming street of Paulau and Trinquete de Caballeros and the St. John's... Valencia's old town is beautiful with its architecture and tiled balconies, pretty windows and cobbled streets. With some great attractions, lovely squares, shops and restaurants. One can easily spend a couple of days just wandering.

Built on the old Roman town, this old zone is a great place to walk around. Full of shops, restaurants and monuments. The better way to see it all is walking, so keep walking and enjoy your touristic day !!!

Great part of the old town with wonderful buildings and winding streets. Great shopping to be done here and even better bars to sit and have a drink. Be careful not to get lost!

The old town in Valencia dates from the year 138 b.C. Walking through the narrow streets, you can come upon the first Roman settlements, vestiges from the moor domain and many buildings from the Christian era. Every building has a story to tell. The old town has been renovated and the uniques of streets, small restaurants and bars along the... More

This is another area of EL CARMEN (the old town).Lots of small winding streets all intermingling with each other. Every street seems to lead into a lovely little square piazza with great tavernas to sit and have a sangria , beer or cocktail and people watch.

I loved the Old Town. It is beautiful, lively and a mix of old and new. Amazing buildings, many restaurants, stores to go shopping, cafés, sightseeing on foot, anything and everything you can think of. Many people, good vibes and a very fun time.

Taste some paella and beers. Visiti the sorroundings of the cathedral and the fountain nearby. Local wines are great and horchata at night refreshing.
