Great for a long walk by the sea
Oct 2021
A very long and very wide beach, with nice sand and plenty of attractions, places for exercising and restaurants nearby. When visited, in October, there were a lot of people but, given the enormous space, it didn't feel crowded at all.

Nice clean beach!
Oct 2021
We visited the beach on a Thursday morning in early October. It wasn’t busy and the sand appeared to be very clean.
There were numerous places to rinse the sand off before leaving the beach, and a good promenade for walking if you didn’t want to go on the sand. Nothing we could see in the way of seaside shops selling sun hats, or buckets and spades, or sweets or anything. There were plenty of places to eat and drink but the one we chose was a bit overpriced and the food was disappointing (but we expected that); though the toilets were clean.
It was nice to get out of the city and see something different.

Long Beach with clean sand. Several restaurants close by. I recommend El Trompo Restaurant. Great ambiance , service , food quality and reasonable prices. Make reservation.

Great beach
Aug 2021 • Friends
This is a nice beach that is a 4-5 km from the tourist area. Great place to spend a day. Lots of volleyball courts. There are places to eat, bars and cabanas. There is a good bit of space from the board walk to the sub bathing area which is great. The board walk is very nice and well maintained also to walk

Love the beach, you can have a really nice time with your family or friends. The restaurants near the beach are great 👌🏻 , there’s nothing better than trying some Paella or Chipirones from Valencia.

Jet skis and incessant pounding music spoil this beach
May 2021
In theory, this is a nice beach, and I used to come swimming here to relax after work. But it is ruined by two things - pointless noisy jet skis racing around near the beach and the crazy loud music from the bars in the port area, which you can hear all the way up to Patacona. I can't believe the port music is even legal it is so loud, and the jet skis are a hazard, bad for wildlife, as well as human health. I'm not sure if the Ayuntamiento can address these things - on the whole I think they are good on environmental issues. But I won't be back to Malvarosa unless I can find a time when the music and the jet skis are switched off.

Wonderful sandy stretch of beach that goes on for miles
Apr 2020
I viisted the beach in early March 2020 right before the UK went into its first lockdown, so just prior to Covid. It's easy to reach from the city via the metro system - you can get off at any of the stops along he beachfront and walk a short way to find it. Malvarosa is the best known of the diferent stretches of coastline which blend into each other and is a great place to spend the day with mile upon mile of golden sand which never feels crowded - although this may be different in mid summer! The walkway is lined with different restaurants and cafes serving an array of different refreshments including the well known and very potent Aqua da Valencia. This would be a great place for beach sports like volleyball - a fun and active way to socially distance or for just sitting and reading and watching the world go by.

Huge beach which goes alongside big part of the city.
Go by bike! There are play of Valenbisi Stations.
Beach volley, beach tennis...
Umbrellas and beds for rent or just free beach to go with your own towel.
Chiringuitos with music if you go till Playa de la Patacona.
The sea is not Caraibbean of course but almost always warm and it's very pleasant.

Amazing beach
Feb 2020 • Family
Our hotel was on this beautiful beach. It's may be one of the widest and long beach in the europ with very fine and clean sand.
There are so many restaurants and cafe next to it.
I recommend this Beach for summer vacations .

Not quite was we expected but a great place to take a long walk
Feb 2020
During the off season, the beach is nearly deserted as is the board walk. The beach is rocky and sandy but not white sand. If you head south after the boardwalk ends you will see the aquarium and the harbor which contains many yatchs and some beautiful historical buildings that are being refurbished.
