This is a cool tucked away short stop. You need to read the signs explaining the development of this circular market. How it went from cool, to quite a mess and back to a cool market.

Even though the round square has just ben remodelled, it still keeps the charm of the old days where traditional wool & fabric and animal markets were settled there.

Found this on a rainy day last autumn. Its worth visiting and whilst the stands offer mostly the usual touristy goods the historical info on boards around are very interesting and are in many languages.

I recall visiting Plaza redonda on an early visit to Valencia, before its refurbishment, and it was pretty much derelict. The refurb seems to have been a great success, and I hope they have retained at least some of the original embroidery and haberdashery shops...More

Circular place with some shops and and coffee shops. Nothing special, unless you stop for some drinks.

the place has a good look to it but we weren't particularly taken with what the various stalls were selling All a bit touristy and overpriced in my opinion.

The setting is interesting but this is merely a place to buy luggage stuffers. We walked through it in about two minutes.
