Built in early 15th century, the building has two turrets with gothic style. It is located at the west side of Plaza de la Virgen. The palace is the seat of the Generalitat of Valencia, noticed government flags on top of the turrets. Nice architecture...More

This is an active office building as seat of the provincial government, yet on occasion (Fallas) or by appointment you can visit the courtyard and 2 nice rooms. Beautiful architecture.

You can enter this building till 2 PM for free (october). You can see the courtyard and two beautiful rooms. It isn't advertised on the outside. But do walk in and see.

The Palau de la Generalitat was constructed in 1510 by Francesc Martinez, Joan Guiverro and Pere Compte. In 1518 Joan Montano and Joan Corbera constructed the tower. The building is very impressive and is the seat of the provincial government.
