We stopped here to kill a couple of hours on our last day. Whilst there are works from some amazing artists, such as Goya, there are no masterpieces here. We worth a stop for any fans of art.

Museo de Bellas Artes de Valencia is a great local art gallery to visit once you have done the main attractions. It is free and you can easily spend a few hours there.

If you want to cool down from the heat, then enter with beautiful museum for free and walk around checking the mostly religious paintings. Great for toilet break as well!

Valencia's art museum has a small but representative collection. Apart from the famous works of Goya and Velazquez, it also has a special local focus, especially local painter Joaquin Sorolla. Admission is free at anytime.

Nice building, nice collection nicely cared for. Pretty café. The collection is very heavy with religious art so not really our favorite.

Surly this museum is not a match to Museo Prado in Madrid. But it is free and it is open 7 days a week. And, for fans of Spanish paintings, it still houses a Goya and a Velasquez.

Free entrance was a pleasant surprise! I loved the collection and the presentation, i loved that it wouldn't take you hours to visit, 1 hour is enough to see everything and the works are really great!

Nice museum to visit. If you have not yet seen too many religious art paintings and impressive alter pieces as of yet then this would be a good choice. Not overly large and displayed very nicely.
