This museum is free and the building itself is lovely. Entrance is free so why not go. Main floor is all icons. Second floor had local artist of note. Be sure to visit all the rooms as the very last room had our favorite oil...More

For us the highlight was the large gallery of Valencian gothic art. There are some stunning -- and very large -- altarpieces here as well as numbers of smaller works. Upstairs is mostly early modern painting, including Valaquez, Ribera -- who lived locally -- and...More

Glad we didn't pay for our visit as unless you are into religious art then this probably won't be your thing. Nice café though, with outside seating, so worth going just for that

Probably, I'm just spoiled, but I left underwhelmed. Great collection of Joaquin Sorolla, but the rest of the collection didn't impress me. Free entry.

I'm not arty so can take it or leave it but my wife informs me it's an excellent museum. Free entry (and toilets).

Yes there is a lot of religious art. But it's easy to skip this with the aid of the good free guide sheet to the galleries. Then you can see the rest of the very nice collection, most of it upstairs. It has good displays...More

I cannot believe this Fine Arts Museum is free admission. Backpacks are checked in at the door but big purses and shoulder bags allowed. Also photos allowed without flash. First floor had excellent English translation of the famous works but the above floors offered no...More

This art museum is quite small and has mostly religious themed paintings. What they have is good though. Entrance is free and there is a nice cafe and clean toilets. Cloakroom available for coats and bags. Biggest disappointment for me was that the museum shop...More
