Spectacular Architecture!

I came here only for photography, and it is a photographer's dream! I can't really comment on the exhibits, just the exterior architecture which is spectacular, day and night

We went to the museam to get a better feeling for the main building and to see the exabition about Tesla. All the information was only in spanish so did not allow us to understand the exibition at all. The other exabitions were more space fillers than of any real artistic or historical interest -space fillers. The building deserves more... More

it is the triumph of form over content. Visiting the complex is expensive at I think 37 euros per person. You do get a discount to 31 euros per person if you have the Valencia tourist card. On arrival we were overawed with the stunning architecture of the whole complex it is like nothing that my wife and I had... More

We strolled there early morning and a clear January Day would say best time to go as you can take pictures of this City within a city so futuristic so incredibly built to catch the light. Left is with a feeling of wonder! Its free to walkaround and great outside little cafe bar.

We went to the Sciences Museum, which contained quite a lot of very interesting exhibits in many many fields. In one of them we could actually see chicks hatch from their eggs. In others, various characteristics of the human body were highlighted through experiments. Definitely worth a few hours. We skipped the oceanographic Museum as it is very pricey (28... More

Great visit for at least a day. We were lucky enough to get a phenomenal weather, which only emphasized the beauty of Calatrava's genius designs. A must-see in Valencia for sure (and photographer's heaven)!

Valencia has been a surprisingly interesting city to visit. We visited the Science Museum for the afternoon. The architecture is impressive of the entire campus in this area. We enjoyed our afternoon in the science museum with three children ages 12, 8 and 4. We have been around the world visiting science museums and this is a good quality museum.... More

Unless you hate architecture do not miss this place. You can walk/cycle here along the old river bed or you can catch the bus. It is a masterpiece of engineering and a photographer's dream. Do your research before you go and allow plenty of time if you want to visit all of it. Take sunglasses, a polarising filter for the... More
