The amount of times I've cycled to my destination only to find there is no where to dock my bike. I then spend the next half hour cycling round looking for an empty docking station only to find they're full as well. By the time I've found somewhere, I'm further away from my destination than I was originally and a... More

On renting the bike there is a "weekly ticket fee" of 13 euro. Presumably this is to cover the cost of the one week bike rental. IT IS NOT! It turns out that you have to pay the "weekly ticket fee" and in addition the per hour rate stated in the pricing schedule. This means: first 30 minutes free, there... More

If you buy a weekly rental at one of the Valenbisi stations, you are presented with a lengthy terms and conditions statement. Nowhere does it make it prominently clear that your card will authorised for an additional EU150 deposit which is released at the end of the weeks rental if you haven't stolen or destroyed a bike. However if you... More

I lived in Valencia for six months and went to the university by Valenbici. It is really easy and around 25 euros for one year. The only time I had problems with the bikes was in the night time it is really hard to find empty places near Blasco Ibanez area! Then again if you cannot find a free place... More

Valencia might just be the best city to ride your bike. The riverbed crossing the old city centre and connecting this with the sunny beach just made this very pleasant and relaxing! Passing the white Calatrava monument, contrasting the blue blue sky was breath taking. Good tour, comfortable bikes but a (Belgian) tour guide who seemed to just could not... More

I had an annual subscription at 23 euros, unlimited useage. Believe a weekly pass is about 10 euros. There are about 166 stances in the city centre, so no difficulty in pick up or parking. Also the great thing is that it seems that you can cycle on the pavement or on the highway. Most seem to choose the pavements!... More

I'm a Brit, and wanted to EXPERIENCE rather than just 'look' at the town. The bikes system is dead easy to use, the machines at most bike parks are multi-language, key in your credit / debit card details and away you go. 10E flat fee for a week, and around 1E per hour's use. Cost me £48E for a week.... More

I think the biggest mistake was for us as non-Spanish speaking tourists, was to use the Valenbisis hire bikes in the first place. They seem like a good idea. The bikes are kept in numerous “bike stations” around the city and can be taken for short trips at a reasonable cost. There is limited instruction in English at the ticket... More

I live here so have an annual pass which costs peanuts. I know you can use it as a visitor as well, but not 100% sure how, sorry. Can't be complicated, and works really well.
