We tried to use the system and I have paid two deposits but were issued with no tickets. By the time I realised that the machine wasn't going to issue me with a ticket and there was a ticket number I should note down, the screen reverted back to the beginning. I tried phoning the call centre number but my... More

we saw these bike stands and wondered if they would be good for us, so we asked at the tourist information if they could tell us more about it, unfortunately they couldn't other than to explain the concept. this is A PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM. you pick a bike up, ride it to your preferred destination and then drop it off.... I have been using Valenbisi for the past month and have had no problems. Until one day I took a bike out and returned it around 15 minutes later, I was with my sister and she returned hers at the same time. She wasn't charged but I was, it said i returned it 5 hours later in the same place... More

The amount of times I've cycled to my destination only to find there is no where to dock my bike. I then spend the next half hour cycling round looking for an empty docking station only to find they're full as well. By the time I've found somewhere, I'm further away from my destination than I was originally and a... More

On renting the bike there is a "weekly ticket fee" of 13 euro. Presumably this is to cover the cost of the one week bike rental. IT IS NOT! It turns out that you have to pay the "weekly ticket fee" and in addition the per hour rate stated in the pricing schedule. This means: first 30 minutes free, there... More

If you buy a weekly rental at one of the Valenbisi stations, you are presented with a lengthy terms and conditions statement. Nowhere does it make it prominently clear that your card will authorised for an additional EU150 deposit which is released at the end of the weeks rental if you haven't stolen or destroyed a bike. However if you... More

I lived in Valencia for six months and went to the university by Valenbici. It is really easy and around 25 euros for one year. The only time I had problems with the bikes was in the night time it is really hard to find empty places near Blasco Ibanez area! Then again if you cannot find a free place... More

Valencia might just be the best city to ride your bike. The riverbed crossing the old city centre and connecting this with the sunny beach just made this very pleasant and relaxing! Passing the white Calatrava monument, contrasting the blue blue sky was breath taking. Good tour, comfortable bikes but a (Belgian) tour guide who seemed to just could not... More
