You get to see how Lladro is made and then get an opportunity to buy some pieces. TIP: They also sell "seconds" (which to us looked just as good as "firsts") in a separate room at a significant discount. They can arrange shipping, but keep in mind that this is expensive. Lladro ships express as it includes more careful handling... More

The Lladro tour is a free tour of the ceramic factory. You must reserve ahead online and request a time for an English tour if you want one. Directions there seemed complicated and it was easier to take a taxi to the plant. The tour consisted of a video, tour of modern pieces and a look at craftsmen molding, painting... More

It was fascinating seeing how these beautiful ceramic statues are created. I had never realized how much detailed work goes into each piece. True craftsmanship. Strongly recommended.

Everything has been described in the other reviews ... All great! ..After missing out on a visit to this factory on previous visits to Spain, it just happened to be a port visit from a cruise ship ..... was a highlight of my cruise holiday ..... Didn't want to leave without another piece of Lladro !!

You must reserve in advance, but it is well worth the 20 min taxi ride and time spent. If you like Lladro, it is a MUST SEE. This factory is the only place in the world where Lladro are made. You start off by seeing a 5 min film on the history of how the 3 Lladro brothers started the... More

If you like Lladro, you probably appreciate all the flowers - all made by hand - all made by the same person for one piece. The factory tour is very special. Instead of a simple little video, you get to visit a portion of the plant that is designed to host tours. Each artisan is a factory worker with special... More

We were made to feel very welcome with our two children aged 9 & 12. The staff were so kind and pleasant. Going on the factory tour is free and is really worth seeing and appreciating all the time and effort that goes into the making of a piece of lladro. The showroom is amazing and a must for lladro... If you collect Lladro and or are interested in how the statues are made, this is the tour for you. It's free, but you'll need to make a reservation in advance, because there is a limited number of people allowed in each tour. You get to see the creation of Lladro from wet clay to finished product. After the tour... More

Long time fan, it was cool to see how they are made. I wish my cats could have seen this with me. Tis a pity they don't travel well these days. So many details.
