Definitely worth the tour. We were shown how they actually manufacture the pieces. It was very interesting. And the showroom? WOW if you are into Lladro. If not you will still be impressed but just spend a bit less time looking around. However ask about the seconds showroom. The pieces have small imperfections but are discounted by 50%.

It was an amazing experience. Bought three pieces at great prices and the sales lady was extremely helpful. Would love to return.

We stopped at the Lladro porcelain factory which was started by 3 brothers in 1953. We were treated to a tour illustrating what goes into the intricate design, shaping and painting of each statue. It gave us a greater appreciation of why the porcelain figures are so expensive.

During our holidays in Spain my wife booked an English speaking factory tour direct with the Lladro factory. Booked all by email some 4 to 5 months prior to us arriving so we had some reservations about everything lining up with dates and times. All was going well until we hopped off the Metro one stop early, the street and... More

I learned a lot about the Lladro ceramics and was fascinated by the workmanship - really all the crafters were women, so workwomanship! Beautiful images and a great display in their museum. If you are into ceramics, you should go.

We had purchased a Lladro figurine a few years back and decided while we were in Valencia we would tour the factory. It was an hour and a half tour and very interesting. We started from the first phase of production of a statue and continued through the process with different artists. Very interesting. The group was small and we... More

We just turned up at the factory near Valencia and were tagged onto a pre-booked tour, but you can book on line or by phone (I think). The staff are very helpful so probably better to phone and avoid a time where there are large cruise ship groups doing the tour. There is a huge showroom full of LLadro porcelain... More
