BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

Cost us about 35 Euros to get in, and was it worth it! Up close to the animals in a very non-typical zoo environment. Highly recommended

We visited on a Monday(apparently the discounted Sunday could be very busy). We were impressed with the well thought out layout ,with decent spaces for the animals. It was beautifully clean and the animals appeared content.Would have liked to see play things for the monkeys and elephants to give them more stimulation though. We were delighted to see a baby gorilla, and our grandaughter... We planned a whole day for the Bioparc, but we saw everything in couple of hours. The zoo is very nice and the animals's shelters are very big and you have a feeling that the animals are almost free. But the zoo covers only a few areas of the world....

We only visited the zoo section of the Bioparc. There was quite a lot of people queuing to go in but we'd booked and paid online so went through quicker. The park is very well laid out and was really worth the trip. The animals were varied and looked in excellent health. The enclosures mostly contained a variety of animals... More

Enjoyed our visit to this zoo. Certainly one of the best zoos that I have seen. Animals with lots of open spaces and not confined to cages. Easy going round from one enclosure to the other. We enjoyed the feeding spectacle of the gorillas, although the guide narration was in Spanish. Unfortunately we missed the amphitheatre show which I understand... More

This is a wonderful modern and compact zoo. Many of the animals co-exist in the same enclosures. So it is easy to get around. There's a good cafe too, overlooking one large enclosures in particular. The gorillas are so close to the viewing area. Well worth a visit.
