About
The Saler Shopping Center is located in front of the City of Arts and Sciences and the Oceanographic, in the area with the most social, cultural and recreational projection of Valencia. With a recent reform, it offers renewed comfort and a much more avant-garde appearance. The space is adapted to the new times, to offer a wide range of leisure and restaurants, with more than 2,000m² of commercial offer, which house firms that are a benchmark in the sector, aimed at people who see the world according to the current values. In its 25 years of experience, the commercial space has established itself as a place aimed at families, but it does not forget its younger audience, with a clear commitment to fashion and trends.

We have just returned from a trip to Valencia in Spain. On our bus tour round we stopped off at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Apart from the amazing architecture we walked past the Registry Office - that in itself was fascinating watching couples entering one door unmarried and emerging from a side door being showered with rice - such a momentous step all in about 5 minutes - but we continued on to the El Saler shopping Centre. It was the queue outside the Neko Mediterranean buffet which attracted us to go there - what a marvellous spread to sample Spanish fare at a very reasonable price! For approx £9 a head one could eat as much as one wanted (and return for more) followed by the same system for desserts. Certainly worth a visit with something on offer to suit all palates.

El Saler is not a very big commercial center, but it has many brand stores. There are also a lot of restaurants for all preferences. You'll find a big Carrefour from where you can supply everything. Including romanian Borsec water! :-)

Lots of good shops and very busy. Massive Carrefour outlet and plenty of places to eat in. It also offers Free parking after 6pm and some free hours during the day if you spend something at the place.

Even though I was expecting this shopping mall to be better, I was still able to appreciate the Carrefour and the food court.

When I first visited this centre as part of a school trip in October 2018, I was underwhelmed! Little did I know that I hadn't actually seen the whole centre! We ate here most nights and always chose a different restaurant. The supermarket was brilliant and prices very reasonable - under 1 euro for a huge watermelon or sack of oranges. I really wish I lived in Valencia - eating healthily would be easy!

The mall already has several years of operation, a believe about 20 years, so it is not the best option if you want to delight in architecture. However, it has an attractive commercial mixture of shops and restaurantes like 100 Montaditos, Amichi, Bershka among others. Ideal for shopping and grabbing something to eat. It has several levels of shops, it is a big mall, nothing so special other than shopping.

This busy Comercial centre is located next to the Arts and Science Park. It is very large and busy. We visited on a Sunday so some of the shops were closed. It has places to eat and drink as well as big brand shops. Well worth stopping off at in this part of the City.

Nice mall located opposite to City of Arts and Sciences. Clean and bright, offers all fashion and sports shops you can desire. Lots of little restaurants a fast food spots. Perfect place to waste some of time.

A fantastic shopping centre. Great selection of shops and some excellent restaurants and cafes. Had an Iced Coffee in McDonalds McCafe. Really really hot day, cafe very very busy. Served by Oscar. What an amazing chap. We sat at the bar and watched this man working, serving an endless queue, mesmerised by his speed, expertise, efficiency and humour. If I had a McCafe I would want him working in it. To top it all, he served a guy next to me with a cappacino and on the top he had drawn a square smiley face on it in chocolate. Priceless. Oscar's assistant Matte was just as industrious. A great team and very pleasurable start to our shopping trip.

We used this centre for many things: to stock up on water and snacks prior to our days sight seeing, shopping (clothes of course! My teenager loved the stores available ) and utilising the range of restaurants for our evening meal ( I have given separate reviews for these).
