Don't listen to the Karen's on here!!!!! This is a brilliant water park. It may not be as big as other water parks but that's purely because everything is close together, in other words confident, the only thing I can say is that the rapids were Abit small. All the British people complaining about added costs is a joke if you don't want to park get the bus its easy no matter where your coming from and you don't need a locker as we had our stuff by a for 6 hours and nothing was taken, not ever person wants to rob you!!

The food we got from the park was delicious and value for money. In terms of queues if your going to water park in Spain in August it is going to be busy and you will have queues but it is no longer than 15 minutes and if your bratty kids can't handle that then teach them some self restraint and that Patience is a virtue. We also manage to get on every slide twice and still left half an hour early, just to prove a point

In short, I personally think a lot of the people on recent reviews are just impatient people who expect the world for what is £20 per adult. Personally I just think British people could learn that people aren't going to close a water park for their personal use.

Thoroughly enjoyed our day. Book in a advance for cheaper prices. Parking was €5. The park was not busy, probably COVID related. Many rides, very good for young children and older alike. Bring flip flops because your feet will get very hot. We wore T-shirt’s but had to take them off for some of the rides. Sun beds were €3 each or nicer ones in pairs for €16. There was plenty of shade to leave bags etc, we took a picnic with us. No cans or bottles but no one checked. Lots of slides, a few big ones, a few with rubber rings. The lifeguards were great, especially when my husband thought he hurt his back. The wave pool is fun. It was open 12-7 but check their website, it was much quieter later in the day. We will go again next year.

Definately book min advance as the queues to get in in the mornng if you haven't purchsed advanced tickets is huge. Go straight to the kiosk to get your wrist band for the lockers as there can be a queur there too and in the heat it is not nice. Greta water park, well run, all staff friendly and keeping lines in order. You can skip the bigger queues if you are a single rider. Food expensive but you expect that at places like this. plently of kiosks where you can but hot dogs etc. All fast food, queues in the larger restaurant areas can be long at peak times. Take your own drinks and plenty of sun cream, Great place to spens the whole day with the kids.

First of all it is super overpriced.
I went with my family and boyfriend and we paid 30 € first for normal tickets per person.
Then the parking cost 5€. If u want a locker you have to pay another 8€, sunbed also cost a lot per person.
We ended up buying fast speed passes because of the chaos. Without the speed passes the queues are 1.5 - 2 hours..
The speed passes are another 40€ per person, and it is not even that great.
The straff prioritize the spanish people, and on one of the slides one of the staff got annoyed by us and said in spanish (i am norwegian but understand spanish) that norwegian people are annoying and never happy.
Then we went to another slide and my boyfriend and uncle both got asked to weigh them self in front of EVERYONE..
You are not allowed to wear sunglasses in the slides, which is understanable, but in the pool it is not allowed either.. they whistle for all the small things, and you dont feel welcome.
They dont care about you, but the money.

This is probably the best equipped waterpark in the immediate area (although Aqualandia in Benidorm is vastly superior). However, the ticket price is unjustifiably high, and there are hidden costs including parking (with no shade provided), and the lockers for storing items. It all adds up to being poor value for money.

Also, one of the children's areas is too splashy, with water being permanently sprayed around and going in your eyes. Our little ones didn't like this so we were limited to just one of the two areas available for small children.

Overall I would advise to give it a miss and go to Aqualandia if you want a really good waterpark to visit.

The lifeguards are very whistle happy, they seem to get a kick out of blowing their whistles and waving their fingers, understandable if it was for good reason but it’s constant and for very minor issues. They look miserable and are completely unfriendly.

Slides have scales at the top. So if you’re over 100KG you are not allowed own. So the lifeguards have to decide based on their opinion. So it’s like a lottery as to whether you will be fat shamed at the top of the slide in front of all the other people queuing. It’s so utterly embarrassing and despicable to do this to people! Have a scales at the bottom so the poor person can weigh themselves in private then go up
If all OK. We’ve been coming to the park for years and this is a recent change. It’s really horrible and reminiscent of some kind of hideous dictatorship. Strange that it was OK for the last 12 years to not have scales. This should also be mentioned on the website before people spend money to get in and end up being told their too heavy to use the slides.

Food is expensive and so is everything else. Drinks, ice creams and anything else. Take your own food and drink.

Unless you want to go on more than 2-3 rides in the day (40 plus minutes waiting for a ride) you need a speedy pass which is 20 euros extra!! But remember if you’re fat you probably won’t get any use out of it.

VIP areas are worth it if you add all the costs of entrance, speedy passes, lockers, food and drink and costs to rent sun beds. You’re probably better off renting a VIP area which has, sun loungers, safe, speedy passes all included.

There were 2 staff members who were absolutely brilliant and lovely to deal with. One on the information desk who dealt with our VIP area, super friendly and kind and another safety person who dealt with my face mask situation (asthmatic so he had to write me another wristband to show the lifeguards) as you are supposed to keep on your masks whilst queuing in the heat! Then pop them in a small plastic bag to hold down the slide! Some staff insist you wear them, some don’t!

If you book online it tells you less queuing, but it actually means you just queue in a big throng with every one else who has booked online! Who doesn’t book online these days?? Used to be an advantage but it isn’t now. Information isn’t clear outside as to where you should queue. If you’ve bought VIP you still don’t get in any quicker.

Used to be 10-8pm now only 12-7pm so more money and less time.

Definitely needs to be less draconian and revisit some of its policies (fat shaming is disgusting) and the customer service policy needs updating and delivering to the staff. Lifeguards are power crazy, rude and miserable.

So we paid for our tickets 30 each plus had to pay a ridiculous 7 euro for a locker then to find out that at least 5 of their slides were out of order. We couldn’t get any of our money back as we had bought our tickets online. What a load of bollox. Spoke to the manager which was as unhelpful. Have free tickets for another day which I will be skipping. They don’t give a sh*t about you and only care about your money I would not recommend.

Friends
I have just collected my eighteen year old granddaughter in tears. Her and her friends, two taxi’s full have visited the park and my granddaughter having climbed the steps and stood in the queue was then made to get on a set of scales and told she was to heavy. This was in front of the remaining queue and she then had to work her way back down the steps having been fat-shamed at the top. We have been to this waterpark pre-covid and there were no such restrictions. The current restrictions should be made abundantly clear on the website and they are not. Scales should be placed at the bottom of the steps with a sign if this is what is required, to stop this happening to other people. My granddaughter is eighteen, works a Saturday job for minimum wage and this day of shaming cost her €50 including taxi, apart from the emotional damage it has done for her. If you are more than a size 12, do not visit Torrevieja Waterpark. We certainly will not be going again.

Queue for everything starting from the car park, it took 20 minutes to get in from the road
Then queue to get in even though we had prepaid to avoid queues. To be fair this was the quickest 10 minute queue.
Then queue for a locker for 15 minutes
Finally queue for everyride somewhere between 30 minutes and over 1 hour. You will spend about 90 percent of your time in a queue! Unless you buy the speedy pass at extra expense
We couldnt even get on 3 or 4 rides because it would of meant waiting for over an hour for each one. Only 2 rides had less than 30 minute queue so we just had to repeat those. Was there 5.5 hours and probably had about 9 rides on 4 attractions

Had a particularly bad experience as this park seems geared towards skinny people! My dad weighs 115KG and my boyfriend weighs 105KG. They were refused to go on various rides due to their weight. Constantly being asked to weigh yourselves in front of others in the queue, which is extremely embarassing. They are not fat but were made to feel like they are. Very embarassing experience having to be refused from the ride and sent to walk down. This park needs to invest in better/stronger materials if they are scared that their rides are going to break down over a person weighing 115kg!
