You can easily get down to one of the two lakes (Salina de Torrevieja or Laguna de Torrevieja) to swim and bathe. Drive to Calle de las Lavandores (37.996916, -0.700556), park there, walk towards the lake (100-150 m). The salinity level is very high, you...More

This area is full of small paths so you can take different walks every day if you want to. The redish water makes it special. The salt from the water looks like snow when it has dried on the shore. Amazing feeling if you take...More

Worth it just for the train trip😊 Interesting info on how they produce local salt from here, not sure if kids would be bothered other than the train trip?

Have lived in Spain for 18 years, and this area is impressive because of the size of the beach, but I don't find it beautiful or feel the need to keep going there. It is however near many options, so it is a good place...More

Some interesting space like photos can be taken along the edge. Along with a good area to go for a hike.

This is a strange place - quiet except for the tourists who come to paddle, have strange photo shoots with chairs and bikes. Visit at sunset for dramatic colours

Interesting to see but please note that swimming is not permited and the water is caustic so take care. Salt crystals can be very sharp.

Been coming to Torrevieja for a few years overlooking the Salt Lakes. Was so pleased to have taken the small train trip to visit the lakes. The guide was very pleasant and knowedgeable. It was very interesting and the views were amazing.
