The old town of Pamplona is beautiful and so much to see. See as much as you can. Just walk through the old streets, follow the Pilgrim train where you can. The place is seeped in History. Avoid the Bull Run time to avoid crowds.

Parroquia San Lorenzo is a church with some history. It dates back to around the 14th century or so. However since that time it has suffered quite a few periods of damage and destruction and has been rebuilt a number of times. The present church is not as old, but it dates back to the last century. Still it is a lovely sight and worth a visit.

The church of San Lorenzo was close to our lodgings on Calle Mayor. It turned out to be a particularly beautiful and personal church with a big side chapel dedicated to San Fermin. He is the dark skinned Saint to whom the bull runs are dedicated and who sculpture is paraded through town.

Is a church in the downtown Pamplona. But inside, you can see the Saint "Fermín" (San Fermín), known for the "San Fermín festival", in July.

We got there just before closing time as we returned from La Taconera Park. The Chapel of St Fermin has tremendous sentimental value. The figure of the saint is placed there. People stand by and get a picture taken for good omen.
The geometrical interlinkages of the domes and the lantern of the large roof are the highlight of the church.

Parroquia San Lorenzo was a beautiful church we passed as my twin brother Stephen and I were heading to Chinaski Lavapies ( craft beer bar ) and what a beautiful church this is .
The church looks absolutely stunning, the facade is very cool indeed, to me it looks like it's just been renovated, makes for some great photographic opportunities.
I never ventured into the church but I was content to just admire the beautiful architecture of this church.
Well worth checking out if your in the area.

Beautiful old church, with a special chapel specifically for the deity of Saint Fermin.
There is a procession on July 7th and July 14th where the statue is actually carried through the streets. It begins at the Church of San Lorenzo at approx. 11:00 a.m. and you will be shoulder to shoulder with those wanting to view this procession.
When the chuch is open, you can actually walk up to the Statue in the chapel and have your picture taken if front of him. Not to be missed if you are trying to experience all of the Festival.

Little and cozy parish in the middle of the city. Saint Fermin stands there all year round, but Saint Fermin festival's eve, the saint is carry on a procession by the mass.

This is the place to see the famous image of San Fermin, Pamplona's beloved bishop. During the San Fermin festival, especially on July 7 and July 14, this statue leaves the haven of San Lorenzo Church and is paraded through the old city to Pamplona's Cathedral and then back to San Lorenzo. This procession is an absolute must see.

A beautiful looking edifice from the outside and even better looking on the inside.
A very ornate Church, that feels as if it is being used by the people, not a Museum!
