What people are saying
The bathrooms speak volumes!

We decided to spend a bit more than usual and give the mussels at Kairos a go, but sadly it will not be an experience I'll be in a hurry to repeat.. First of all though, let me say that the staff were all friendly and attentive. Unfortunately it went down hill a bit from there. We ordered a salad to share for starters which was ordinary at best and lacking in flavour. Only when we dressed the salad was it really any good. At €11.50 I expect more from a salad. The mussels next (€16), great sauce with lots of flavour but the mussels were NOT cleaned! Come on, isn't that why you pay a higher price for mussels due to the work involved cleaning them? It certainly isn't because they are considered a luxury. A kilo of good mussels can be purchesed in Pamplona for much less than €5. Excessive in my opinion. The bread that comes with all meals seemed like it was yesterday's.. too hard and in all seriousness, not freash!! The house white wine was good and the price very respectable (It's from Navarra and should be) Dessert was a well done chocolate fondant with a nice runny middle. By far the worst and perhaps worrying thing were the toilets (both mens and ladies). Quite simply horrible... how can a restaurant leave the bathrooms in such a state?? One can only hope it doesn't reflect on the same hygene standards in the kitchen. Shameful All this for just shy of €45. "Not too expensive for two" I hear you say. True indeed, but the alternatives just around the corner for almost half the price put this place in the shade and make this a forgetable meal and not one to return to.
