We popped into a side door and walked into a beautiful interior with what looked like two separate altar areas. When we walked out the other side...I completely forgot about taking a photo of the exterior as the church bells were ringing!

a church (two churches??) full of surprises. It feels like a siamese twin version of two churches combined into one .... lots of detail and great atmosphere. Worth a visit

Iglesia de San Saturnino is a beautiful, peaceful church...with architecture that speaks volumes - unique yet still the Gothic design. A must-visit in Pamplona!

The San Saturnino church is one of those surprisingly beautiful churches you can walk into unexpectedly in Spain. It was built in the 13th century in the location of earlier churches. A striking feature are the numbered creaking wooden floorboards under which there are graves....More

We found the Iglesia de San Saturnino not far from the Town Hall in the old town. We walked completely around it, and it seemed like a fortress. The main entrance was closed, but the signage in front showed there were regular services 2 or...More

Slipped into the Church of Saturnino for a look around. I was in there for a few minutes and then a priest entered and started a service of mass. I stayed a few minutes lost in the cadence of the chant and then made an...More

This church is particularly interesting because it has two alters. The church was original built in the 13th Century!

As most churches in Navarra it is a beautiful chuch, located in the city centre. We went for a wedding there, which made it even nicer. If you are catholic -go to the mass there the priest is great and can definitely touch your heart

It was one of the very few churches that were open on 5 - 7 July (all the other churches and attractions are shut during the Running of the Bulls). Very dark and pretty 13 century area, with a newer extension from the 18 century...More
