There's some great and interesting history here. The fortress is well-maintained and very visitor-friendly with audio tours in multiple languages. The staff was also super helpful and kind. It also has some really stunning views of the city!

We deliberately went there and had a good walk around the exterior. It is well kept and magnificent to see. It is well worth the visit.

An excellent park. The fort is great. And, in excellent condition. You get a real sense of how forts worked and why this one was so important to Irunea. Very close to "downtown" Irunea. Highly recommended.

Hi, I would recommend that you spend a couple of days driving around La Rioja and don't miss the many wineyards around that area, especially The Marques de Riscal in Elciego. Also, I would definitively recommend that from... More

The medieval part of Pamplona is small and intimate. An hour’s pushing it, but it’s worth investing half a day in the town. Beautiful, and you won’t get more Spanish
