We are not fan of bull fighting. The museum is however nice made and tells about spanish culture. Absolutely worth a visit. It is free, so no reson not to visit. You can bring children and have a good chat telling them what bullfighting is. I was surprised knowing that bullfighting is still allowed. I thought they had stopped it.
We had some tapas in the restaurant and they were nice with a glass of wine.

We visited here on Fri 6 Feb 15. Whilst we had the location of this museum we were not too sure when we arrived that we had the right place. The museum is located at the back of the Murcia Bullfighting Club and accessed through the bar area of Club Taurino. When we enquired the Museo Taurino de Murcia wasn't open but the chap running the bar let us go through and turned on the lights! Entrance is free and the museum is on two floors. The museum is charming and quite a few displays had multi language labels including English. Whist we didn't eat here there were a lot of locals meeting for drinks and tapas. We had a couple of very good (and cheap) coffees and chatted to the bar man about some other local attractions. We didn't get the guys name but he was very helpful and spoke good English, thanks for the advice!

Set in large gardens, this is a great museum with lots of Bull Fighting items, photos, memorabilia, posters, videos and clothing.
Bull Heads and historical items are displayed on two floors. Not wanting to see a real bull fight but interested in Spanish culture and history this is a must see.
It is free, staff are helpful and there is a fine Tapas Bar attached to the building.
Actually we found it on an afternoon walk around the city. A visit to the Tourist information will give up street plans and other leaflets of interest.
The only down side is that there is little in English- mainly Spanish language. But then, that is part of the charm.

I've been to this most wonderful and great museum on a few occasions and find new things on each visit. I agree with all the reviews that are posted on this page, so I won't waste time repeating what's stated. So if you happen to be close by its worth a visit. So go look and enjoy this little gem. This is located within a park, just 5 minute's walk from the Cathedral area. There is also a cafe. There are wonderful advertising and event posters.

Somehow we had difficulties finding it, but finally managed, and did not regret,
. It is special, gives you an initiation in a world of a different passion, and with history !
The bull club is still actively used , but fully set up as a museum for curious individuals.
Takes you less than an hour and fully free.
We had nice fresh tapa of calamares after the visit on their terrace!

What isn't advertised is the fantastic little restaurant attached to the museum! We stumbled across the place while walking around and had a really lovely lunch. Club Taurino is surrounded by some beautiful gardens with lots of trees you can sit under while enjoying an Estrella! We came back the next day for another awesome steak!
The museum is actually pretty interesting too!

Couldn’t see the bull fighting event but I still saw the place where that brutal sport took place. The museum shows and tells about those who go ere famous for the it sport.

Did a lap of the park looking for it then realized the museum is through a restaurant .
It’s Only 10 min walk from the center of town and a very fascinating look into the traditions of bull fighting.
Lots of old posters and elaborate outfits to look at. Well Worth a visit , free to get in and restaurant attached very friendly and does nice cold beer after :).
