Saw the Don Quixote ballet here. Nice theatre, lifts to upper seating areas. Clean loos. Feeling of space. Cafeteria. Excellent parking in its grounds. We visited this splendid theatre to enjoy legendary band ''The Waterboys'' in concert. The building is only approx 25 years old, a fine example of no nonsense contemporary design, that delivers what it is intended for - ultra fit for purpose. Easy access, with lifts and stairs options, easy to find toilets and a clean simple, functional bar. Host for the show, the Narciso Yepes halls sight lines are excellent, the acoustics great, seating comfortable, this is an audience friendly, lovely theatre, which seats approx' 1,800 people. The stage is wide and deep, quite perfectly proportioned. So, the scene was set, this fine theatre alive and buzzing, in anticipation of Mike Scott, and his wonderful Waterboys show - and we were not dissapointed ! The band were superb, their classic rock pop hit ''The Whole Of The Moon'' bringing the whole audience to their feet, a standing ovation for a brilliant song, brilliant performance, brilliant concert, brilliant band, and yes, clearly we are fans.
