Well organised, interesting, value for money trip

This is a great way to get the feel of the harbour and its history, and such good value for money. I thoroughly recommend it.

The boat ride charges 5.75€. The whole trip takes about 45 minutes. You can disembark midcourse to visit a fortress on the seaside but I would not recommend it as you will have to wait for another hour at the fortress for the next boat. Unless it is very cold and windy, it is better to stay on the roof.... More

Following my solo trip in June went again with my partner and she thoroughly enjoyed it too. It's not overly exciting but with the interesting commentary it does give a sense of an historic timeline as it has affected the city over the centuries. An added bonus was the mooring in the harbour of the P&O cruise ship 'Ventura', a... More

A nice boat ride around the bay of Cartagena, with interesting explanations in Spanish and English. Nothing spectacular, but worth the 5.75 euros.

As a family of four we booked the tour an hour prior to the tour time. The boat was fairly packed and those clearly in the know or the pushiest charged straight to the roof of the boat and defended their seats strongly! The harbour tour was interesting and was given in English and Spanish. You can only just about... More

You get what you pay for I suppose. It was a nice enough trip around the harbour. The trip takes approx. 45 mins & the drink is cheap enough on board. I wanted to book the 3 Hour trip but there was not enough interest for the trip to go ahead. Maybe my opinion was a little tainted as it... More

We went on this trip which also included a trip to Fort Navidad. I would not recommend the fort as we did not have a guide and we were left for an hour until the next boat came along and there is no cafe. The boat trip though was well worth the 6 euros that it cost and I would... More

I only gave this 3 rather than 4 or 5 as there were a number of things on the day we were not impressed by. We were booked on the 16:30 tour and boarded the Barco. The upstairs seating was not clean with crumbs, dirty foot prints, and other rubbish left on the seats. The boat had hardly left the... More

For a 1 hour or so trip around the harbour areas for only 5.75 euros (4.75 for seniors etc) this was very good value. Whilst a very warm and sunny day there was a bit of a wind making the sea a bit choppy. Fortunately no illnesses ensued amongst the packed visitors. There was an excellent commentary in both Spanish... More
