Nice beaches for late afternoon visit

Mar Menor has many beaches all of which are nice. I prefer the stretch along Lo Pagan in the San Pedro del Pinatar area as the water is shallow and the beach is soft sand. There... read more

My husband and I love going to Mar Menor especially the mud baths. It's really good to rub the mud on areas where you have aches and pains. This treatment definitely helps. Relax in the pink salt canal then and you feel a million dollars when you get out.

could not believe my eyes when around beach of los espejo. saw some human faeces floating. it put me off completely i wondered if the people of this area are hoping that the brits dont come back any more? area is great but they need to clean up the beaches or risk people becoming very ill!!

Stayed with my partner and friends at a house within the Mar Menor Golf Resort. The Intercontinental Hotel, at the resort, was exceptional and we used their facilities as local residents. We used the resort as a base to travel to local locations such as Los Alcazares, a busy beach and fabulous restaurant resort, Torro Pacheco, a small market town... More

Mar Menor has many beaches all of which are nice. I prefer the stretch along Lo Pagan in the San Pedro del Pinatar area as the water is shallow and the beach is soft sand. There are several bars and restaurants and parking along the seafront and side roads. The beaches get busy at weekends as the locals love them... More

Murcia airport is only 10 to 15mins away from most of the area to follow. We visited the area around Los Alcazares, for the first time this year, the whole coastal area of this inland sea water lake was so nice, the peoples really friendly, we found all the little areas going north all had something fresh and interesting to... Views good along the beach, worth cycling along. Sun beds and parasols ok value, facilities along beach ok. Water very warm but murky and feels dirty in August. Probably nicest part of los alcazares.

Perfect beach and mini sea for families and friends to enjoy the Spanish sunshine. Bars and restaurants not far away and odd local shop. Unspoilt
