Melilla used to have a large fishing fleet which is now very much reduced. A fishing boat is prominent opposite the harbour to commemorate the fishing heritage.

Melilla used to have a huge fishing fleet but it is now much reduced. The fishingboat and plaques are a tribute to fishermen of the past.
