Fantastic tour of the modern side of Madrid

I absolutely recommend Xtreme Tours. Our guide, Manuel was extremely professional and considerate, he went out of his way to ensure we had an amazing tour. My husband and I ended up being the only people on a very hot morning... Manuel ensured we got the full tour, with the same enthusiasm as if we were a large group.
Manuel was so knowledgeable and he made sure we fell in love with the city all over again. What an amazing way to end our stay in Madrid!

Brilliant tours

Our group hit the ground running when we arrived in Madrid. We joined the "Millennial Madrid" tour at 5.30pm and were so pleased that we had made the effort. Manuel, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable, personable, witty and helpful with excellent English so our tour was interesting and entertaining. We joined him again the following day for "The Other Side of Madrid" tour which was of the same high standard. He recommended places for us to eat and we weren't disappointed. I would definitely recommend joining these tours.

Amazing Tour

So glad we picked this tour and not a different one. Carlos, our tour guide, was great! He was funny and knowledgeable and let us have little stops for snacks and food and drink- we only had a group of five so the tour was really nice, we heard everything asked lots of questions. It wasn't too far walking and we had a lovely morning. Carlos had a lot of recommendations for food and we were not disappointed with where we ate.

Wonderful walking tour!

We are so glad that we did the Walking Tour with Manuel. We only joined the group last minute but it was one of our best decisions. Manuel was a fantastic guide and we learnt so much about beautiful Madrid that we would never have found out by ourselves.

Great Free Walk guided by Carlos, a young nice motivated guy. We took the ancient city part. Departed from puerta de sol - tour in english depart on 11:30. around 2 hours walk - a great way to start your stay in Madrid. We highly recommend.

Informative and Educative Tour

Robert had all the qualities a good tour guide makes. He knew his stuff, hit all the major spots in Madrid and regaled us with stories about Madrid. He had answers for all our questions regarding the various landmarks and to top it all his restaurant recommendations were on point. We certainly enjoyed Robert's company and the tour and would definitely recommend it for all visitors looking to understand Madrid's history.

Manuel the magnificent!

Walking to the Prado with my husband via Plaza del Sol, we were diverted by Manuel and his engaging manner.Joined his free walking tour of Madrid and it was a joy. Informative and entertaining it was delight to see someone who loves his job and his city.
We felt this was a good re introduction to Madrid after a 42 year absence.
Must go back to Madrid now as we never made it to the Prado!Good to have an excuse to revisit a wonderful vibrant city.His restaurant recommendation was fabulous too.

A Really Nice Way to/See the Center of Madrid

Xtreme Tours is a great way to get an overview of the center of Madrid. The only cost is what you decide to tip the guide. Patti was wonderful - friendly, knowledgeable and spoke excellent English.. We saw the major sights and learned a lot about the history of Madrid. We met some very nice people and had a really good tour. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

They cancelled on us right before the tour!!

I booked this tour weeks if not months in advance based on Trip Advisor's reviews. It was a free tour so I was a little sketchy about it, but figured you just excessively tip them and that is how they pay their bills.

I received an email the night before stating that nobody else booked, so it would be a private tour for my group. Ghost Tours are one of my favorite things to do if a town is considered haunted. I was really excited for the private tour since they might tailor or more to adults, so I was glad they didn't cancel on us. Figured we had to tip a ton extra since it would just be the 4 in my group.

We had planned out entire evening around this tour. About an hour and a half before the tour we get an email stating the tour was cancelled because the guides car broke down. In the age of Uber, this seems life a poor excuse (BTW they do have Uber in Madrid, we used it a ton). If you're a professional tour company, don't you have a back up for this situation? Seemed like they had some time to find one from their group or offer us an option. Oh well, unprofessional group, would not recommend. If you choose to use them, have a backup for your plans. Unfortunately we did not...

Today we did a site seeing tour with Manuel & Xtreme tours calles Las Letras. Had two young children, and we walked the city hearing all stories from 16th and 17th century artists. Manuel has a lot
of personality, mixed with dozens of anecdotes and stories you would never read about unless you truly knew Spanish history. Anyone interested in getting to know more about great leaders of Spain must attend this tour
