I bought a laptop. Never arrived. Never returned my. Knew

Never ever Mamés Antón Line shopping in that store.....unless you want loss your time and money. Product never arrived (a laptop) charge was done and attention telephone and email were both blocked. They never answered. I left Madrid with ni laptop and with 1.950 euros still to be returned.
If you want to buy something go to the shop or to Amazon.

Non Existent customer service

I bought some Christmas presents online on cyber Monday (November 31st) Two items were never sent. The delivery time continued to change. Finally, the delivery time was changed to December 17th and nothing arrived. I wrote two messages asking for information. I never received any information. I realized my money had been refunded to my account and my order had been annulled on December 22nd. Again, I was never notified of any of these changes. Terrible customer service! I had ordered Christmas presents on cyber Monday, as you do, and had to wait days before Christmas to find out that my gifts aren´t coming. Now I have to go through the stress of doing last minute Christmas shopping hoping that there is anything left. I will never do any online shopping through el corte ingles again, especially if it is for an important occasion!

Bad experience on holiday trip

I am from Singapore. I went to this Louis Vuitton at El Corte Ingles Castellana store in Madrid . I took a liking to one of the bags and used my credit card to pay for it. However, my credit card transaction was declined after many failed attempts; I had to leave the store disappointed and embarrassed.

The next day when I contacted the bank to enquire why my transaction failed; I realized that my bank card has been charged for my purchase only on the next day despite leaving the store empty handed and in embarrassment. Although the merchant had refund but due to currency exchange rates, the refunded amount was $200 Euros lesser which was totally unacceptable.

Being a renown international brand, it is disappointing that I have to go through this and charged incorrectly. And despite contacting them, they refused to reply and return the $200 euros difference. The emotional damage/embarrassment experienced in the store and trust I had with Louis Vuitton has clearly left a scar in me and caused my remaining trip to be affected.

This is one of the most popular department stores in the world. It os for sure the very spanish concept of such an Institution. Large, ruch, very nice staff all over. It will be impossible for the visitor not to find out something he/she has been looking for for a while. A must go!

Customer support is a disaster

You can buy here only products available in the shop and those you don't expect to need any aftersales service (like a book, etc.). Customer support is disaster. Online shopping is now their main problem, with products they are not delivering, etc.

NEVER BUY AT CORTES INGLÉS ONLINE

This company committed to deliver my purchase on the 24 December. Nothing was delivered either on that day or later days. The customer service was unable to track my purchase. No help was given to solve this issue. And I'm still waiting to understand where my 40 euro went. Shameful service. AVOID!!!

Everything about this shopping experience was awful; poor quality products that broke in the first day; took two months to respond to my queries; then failure to replace the broken product. I would recommend going to Amazon for a better quality experience. Never again

Excellent Department store in Spain and Portugal

Very large but very good department store in all cities in Spain. We shopped here and in Barcelona. Prices are very good for Australians. I managed to get a fantastic underwire bikini for a good price which I find expensive in Australia. There is an amazing selection of everything. They do everything! Cosmetics were also well priced and they had a sale and I got good prices on Lancôme and then 20% off that which worked out cheaper than duty free. You can get a tax back when you spend over a certain amount but make sure you get the paper work stamped before you go through security we were told wrong thing. You get stamp on paper work before and then after security there are desks to get it back. I couldn't be bothered going back. We went back a few times to shop more particularly in Barcelona. Lovely colourful clothes too.

Excellent Shopping Mall

One of the best Shopping malls in Madrid and all over Spain as well. Very huge, involves supermarket, men wear, women wear, kids wear, sport wear, shoes, Home stuff, Nespresso machines and capsules, and restaurants. El Corte Ingles restaurant serves international and traditional food, i have tried the baked salmon and it was very nice

Tip:At all El Corte Ingles stores you will find a helpdesk to issue "tourist card". it is very easy just they need to see your passport This card will offers you a 10% discount on all stuff. Also, when you buy you can ask for a "Tax free certificate" by which you can double dip the winning (10% + Tax free). Hope this is helpful for everyone.
