We went there a group of 5 friends where only 2 of us had tried an escape room before, and we had the one with the terrible circus. Terrible circus is really good if its your first time because there are many simple solutions where you learn the basic things you have to do when you are solving an escape room, but at the same time its still challenging enough for you if you have tried a few escape rooms before. We went there a day where it was 40 degrees outside, and i can really recommend going there on a hot day because its really nice and cold and they have cold water ready for you when you get in. Going to this escape room is a really good way to kill some of the hours in the afternoon where is too hot to walk around outside. The staff is profesional and they speak really well in english if you don´t speak Spanish. They explained us really well before we went in how to unlock the different kinds of locks, and if you get stock in the escape room they will call you by walkie-talkie and give you a hint so that you can continue. I can´t wait to come back and try another story.

Quite simply the El Grande Escape was one of the best experiences of our visit to Madrid. This was our first ever ‘escape’ experience and from initial feelings of apprehension and bewilderment to satisfaction and elation at success, it was thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. The puzzles, riddles and conundrums throughout were both perplexing and exhilarating. But once you’d unlocked the individual mysteries there was a huge sense of great pleasure and achievement. It was for us a family experience which we will remember for many years to come. Highly recommend a visit.

This was my second time trying out an escape room and it certainly was better than the one I visited in Australia. Very professionally set up and put together. Can sense a lot of work has gone into preparing these rooms and it’s paying off. We done the circus themed room and it was a total surprise and fantastic experience. I will definitely be returning when I return to Madrid. The location too is fantastic if you are staying in around the city. Only ten minute walk to and from central areas! Great job!!
