Fernando was absolutely fantastic! First he took us on a tour of the market and explained many of the stalls/foods there. Then we got to make orange and cod salad, tortilla de patatas, and chicken and vegetable paella. In addition he made amazing real Spanish sangria and orange fried apples which we also got to enjoy. All in all it was an terrific experience. Highly recommended!

We had the best time. Our instructor was the very best! The tour of the market before cooking was very informative and the preparation was superb. We enjoyed what we made and it was the best Paella I'd ever had! We learned so much and i have used what i learned since returning home. I highly recommend spending the afternoon in his class.

The cooking class was enjoyable, informative and well organized. With step by step explanation I was able to learn how to cook paella & Spanish potato tortilla. All participants were involved in the cooking process. The final meal was delicious, and also included a salad and a dessert. After the class we has a chance to buy some quality products at t Torrijos market. Time well spent. Recommended

We were five and joined six others for a hands-on cooking class with Soy Chef Madrid. Frenando was so much fun and we all learned a lot. Not only that, the food was delicious (the best we had all trip)! I would recommend this to anyone interested in learning more about Spanish food and cooking in general. You won't be disappointed.

Chef Fernando was wonderful and very knowledgeable the tour of the market provided a good overview of what to look for at the market and understanding what we are buying. The cooking class itself was a lot of fun and social maybe not as hands on as we preferred but learned A LOT from Fernando - not just technique but why we should do what we need to do. After the class we did get a discount on items in one of the shops and even purchased a paella (pan) to take home and we never buy anything on holiday. Can't wait to show off to our friends at home:)
